Technical Manager for Food Manufacturer based in Pembrokeshire. Strong leader who can drive performance in others and bring people on a journey.
Reporting to the Site Director, responsibilities for the role will include:
Implementing the companys technical and quality strategy to ensure the site is always audit ready
Leading technical team to deliver the site business plan
Developing and implementing the site food safety plan
Maintaining high standards of food safety/ quality, health & safety and environment
Managing and overseeing technical related budgets and financial planning
Conducting incident investigations, including risk assessments
Supporting independent audits across the company
Essential / Desirable skills include:
Experienced Technical Manager ideally with science-based Degree/ Diploma
Chilled food manufacturing experience is essential
In-depth understanding of micro and associated hygiene practices (food handling, cleaning & disinfection etc)
Experience working with multiple retailers
Level 3 Food hygiene and Level 4 HACCP
Ideally Driving licence
