Technical Manager (Residential Construction)

Are you an experienced Design or Technical Manager in the residential sector looking to work with a growing, entrepreneurial developer?

Our client build and own a number of properties around the Kent area, having successfully delivered a number of schemes they now have a healthy pipeline of schemes at pre-construction ranging between 30 to 160 units.

They are looking to appoint a Technical Manager to work closely alongside the Development Manager and Construction Manager and head up the companies Technical & Design function;

Main responsibilities:

• Coordinate layouts and working drawings, and assist with technical reports for land appraisals.
• Provide technical support to Construction and Commercial departments
• Head up Technical strategy from structural works through to MEP and construction phases.
• Assist with consultant appointments.
• Coordinate planning and building regulation applications, securing necessary approvals.
• Assist in producing pre-tender documents
• Implement new ideas and methods to enhance organisational growth
• Obtain and coordinate information from external consultants and suppliers
• Occasionally produce designs for layouts and house designs.
• Handle miscellaneous approvals.
• Ensure flow of Technical communication across wider divisions
