Location:�Leicester

Hours:�Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM (on-site)

Salary:�Up to �60,000 DOE

About the Role:�Our client, a renowned name in the food manufacturing industry, is seeking a highly skilled Technical Manager to join their team. This is a pivotal role, as the successful candidate will be the most senior technical person on site, responsible for ensuring the highest standards of quality and compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the technical team to maintain and enhance quality assurance processes.


• Oversee all aspects of technical operations, including New Product Development (NPD), specifications, and raw materials.


• Ensure compliance with all relevant food safety standards and regulations.


• Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the technical department.


• Collaborate closely with production, supply chain, and other departments to ensure seamless operations.


• Provide technical expertise and support to all levels of the organization.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in a technical management role within the manufacturing/FMCG sector; experience in food manufacturing is highly preferable.


• Strong background in quality assurance, NPD, and raw materials management.


• Excellent leadership and team management skills.


• In-depth knowledge of food safety standards and regulations.


• Exceptional problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.


• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
