Position:
Technical Manager

Location:
Cheshire base; projects Midlands to North (M6 Corridor)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and oversee the entire lifecycle of IDNO HV projects from quotation through to successful completion
  • Lead a dedicated project team and ensure delivery performance meets or exceeds client expectations
  • Support in preparing accurate quotations and costings for projects
  • Act as technical point of contact for the design team, ICP's and customers
  • Provide technical expertise in HV system design, connections, cost calculations
  • Manage sales pipeline, project sales growth and profitability
  • Conduct regular customer visits to build and maintain strong client relationships
  • Effectively manage suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and services
  • Produce comprehensive reports and deliver presentations to the board
  • Provide technical support and guidance to frontline teams to resolve complex issues

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Electrical Engineering qualification
  • Project management qualification or experience
  • Proven track record of delivering HV connection projects on large-scale industrial projects (�100K - �1 million)
  • Strong technical knowledge of HV system design, connections, routing, jointing and termination
  • Experience working with DNO, IDNO, and ICP companies
  • Excellent leadership and people management skills with the ability to motivate and inspire teams
  • Commercial acumen with experience in budget management and cost control
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
