Role Overview:
As the Technical Manager, you will take ownership of the technical direction of key development projects, leading a team of developers to deliver high-quality software solutions. You will be responsible for ensuring that the development process is streamlined, projects are delivered on time, and that best practices are maintained across the team. This is a highly collaborative and hands-on role where you will work closely with various stakeholders to deliver exceptional products.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead, manage, and mentor a team of developers, providing technical guidance and career development support.
- Oversee the delivery of software development projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and to the highest standards.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including product managers, designers, and business stakeholders, to define technical requirements and project scope.
- Establish and maintain technical processes, ensuring the use of best practices and efficient workflows.
- Conduct code reviews and ensure that the development team adheres to industry standards for code quality, security, and scalability.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical challenges, ensuring minimal impact on project timelines.
- Stay updated on emerging technologies and industry trends, applying new approaches where applicable to improve project outcomes.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes and tools to increase efficiency and productivity.
Skills & Experience:
- Proven experience as a Technical Manager or in a senior development role, with a focus on team leadership and project delivery.
- Strong hands-on experience in software development.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities, with the capacity to guide teams through complex technical issues.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
