About the opportunity:




  • Oversee technical aspects of construction projects from planning to execution.

  • Collaborate with architects and engineers to review and approve design specifications.

  • Provide technical expertise and support to project teams, addressing challenges as they arise.

  • Implement quality assurance processes to maintain high standards in construction practices and materials.

  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and industry standards.

  • Maintain accurate records of technical documents, including plans, specifications, and compliance reports.

  • Serve as a liaison between clients, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure effective communication on technical matters.





About the benefits and rewards:



The salary will be dependent on the level of exposure to the residential industry. The company offers excellent opportunities and offers a basic salary in the region of up to �70k DOE. In addition to the basic salary there will be further company benefits.





About the requirements:




  • Previous experience as a Technical Manager or Design Manager with a national or regional housebuilder.

  • Strong team leadership skills with the drive to achieve business goals.

  • Excellent communication and attention to detail.

  • Extensive experience with established development methodologies.

  • Proven experience in a similar role within a major company

  • Engineering, Architecture, or relevant professional qualification (HNC, RIBA, NVQ Level 4/5).

  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines.

  • Proficiency in relevant IT tools, including AutoCAD/Revit.
