Technical Officer / Senior Maintenance Officer - Near Inverness, UK


Our client has an immediate Temporary requirement for 10 - 12 weeks for an individual to join their Team. The organisation is dedicated to delivering high-quality housing maintenance and asset management services. Job Responsibilities:
  • Oversee and manage repairs and maintenance operations to ensure compliance with asset management standards.
  • Conduct surveys and diagnose building-related defects effectively.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of building maintenance and repairs programmes.
  • Provide excellent customer service and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders.
  • Prepare financial forecasts and manage budgets related to maintenance activities.
  • Ensure adherence to health and safety legislation in all maintenance activities.
  • Supervise and mentor junior staff within the repairs and maintenance team.
  • Utilise ICT skills to manage records and reporting efficiently.

Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • For Senior Maintenance Officer:
  • Level 2 Asset Management and Building Compliance.
  • CIH Level 3 in Housing Maintenance and Asset Management or equivalent professional qualification.
  • IOSH certification.
  • Proven supervisory experience in a repairs and maintenance role.
  • Strong financial forecasting skills.
  • For Technical Officer - Repairs:
  • Educated and experienced in a building-related discipline.
  • Trade qualification or construction-related qualification.
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in a construction-related post.
  • Ability to prioritise and manage a diverse workload effectively.
  • Knowledge of building technology and health and safety legislation.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • ProficientICT skills for effective record-keeping and reporting.
