Starting salary between £28536 and £34629 per annum
Based at Regis Place Offices, Kings Lynn
If you have sound knowledge of housing construction and building techniques with experience of technical advice and guidance to members of the public including to older, vulnerable and disabled people, we have the perfect opportunity for you to join our Care and Repair Team.
Our team assess vulnerable client’s needs in their property to carry out any recommended adaptations which enable people to remain in their own homes to make a difference to the west Norfolk community. We need you to use your technical experience of property construction and/or housing repairs to improve, repair and adapt Clients homes. You will carry out home visits to assess and discuss the Clients housing needs and provide technical advice, preparing schedules of work, specifications and drawings as needed.
You will manage your own caseload and due to a significant amount of travelling you must have a full driving license and excellent time management skills. You must have an HNC or equivalent in a building related subject or 5 years technical experience with good communication skills and a sensitive approach.
