Our client, based in Norfolk, is seeking an experienced and progressive Technical Sales Engineer to join their expanding team. This is a fantastic opportunity to take your technical sales capabilities to the next level and contribute to a more sustainable future.

 

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

  • Provide technical sales expertise for commercial and industrial solar projects, including rooftop, carport, and ground arrays across the UK.

  • Conduct site surveys to assess electrical systems and develop design solutions for solar energy systems from a commercial standpoint.

  • Specify equipment such as breakers, cables, and inverters, ensuring all technical aspects of the projects are feasible and efficient.

  • Collaborate with the broader team to develop and present compelling proposals to potential clients.

  • Stay up to date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices to continually enhance the company’s offerings and processes.


 

 

Qualifications:

 

  • Proven experience as a Technical Sales Engineer, preferably within the renewable energy sector.

  • Strong understanding of commercial and industrial solar energy systems.

  • Excellent technical knowledge of electrical systems and solar equipment.

  • Ability to conduct detailed site surveys and develop effective design solutions.

  • Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex technical information clearly and persuasively.

  • Proactive, innovative, and able to work both independently and as part of a team.

  • A passion for renewable energy and a commitment to driving sustainable solutions.


 

What We Offer:

 

  • Competitive salary dependant of experience from £40-45k per annum.

  • 28 days holiday, rising by 1 day per full year of employment, maximum of 33
