Technical Sales Engineer

Due to significant expansion, a �15m turnover manufacturing business is looking for a Technical Sales Engineer to join their successful team.

As Technical Sales Engineer you will be responsible for selling industry leading products to a global customer base. You will enjoy working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, and the opportunity to grow and develop your career.

As Technical Sales Engineer you will:

• Engage directly with customers to understand and fulfill their requirements


• Identify and pursue new business opportunities


• Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with existing customers


• Manage the entire process from initial enquiry through manufacturing to final delivery including the creation of detailed specifications


• Consult with customers to design tailored solutions that meet their expectations


• Prepare detailed costing and compliance matrixes ensuring that solutions align with customers agreements


• Ensure all products comply with latest industry regulations and guidance


• Create persuasive quotes and engaging customer presentations


• Collaborate with the design and production teams to track project budgets and time-scales�


• Travel and meet existing and new customers to maintain relationships

Skills and Experience Required:

• Proven track record as a sales engineer, ideally in manufacturing/engineering


• Sales acumen


• Relationship building


• Customer service expertise


• Project life-cycle management


• Problem solving, and time management

Salary and benefits include:

• �30,000 to �40,000 depending on experience
