Technical Sales Engineer

Astute's Nuclear team is partnering with a leading provider fluid system connectors working across a multitude of markets who are looking to recruit a Technical Sales Engineer to work within the Oil & Gas sector.
The Technical Sales Engineer will identify new clients, provide pre and post installation expertise and educate customers on the benefits of their technology. The role comes with a base salary of �26,000 plus commission, car and other company benefits.

Responsibilities and duties
As the Technical Sales Engineer you will:

• Identifying new clients who might benefit from company products & services
• Establishing the specific requirements of potential clients to ensure their needs match our capabilities
• Providing expertise to clients both pre & post installation to ensure their technology is utilised in a safe and compliant manner
• Meet with clients four days a week to have technical discussions, demonstrate products and complete onsite training

Professional qualifications
We are looking for someone with the following:

• Mechanical/Petroleum/Chemical/Civil/Electrical Engineering Degree
• Hold a UK Driving Licence

The Technical Sales Engineer role would suit someone who has:

• Ability to work away from home
