I am currently recruiting for a Technical Sales Engineer Automation Engineer to work for a key client of mine based in Peterborough. Salary up to �60,000 + Car or Car Allowance + Bonus + Benefits

This company specialises in delivering tailored automation and control solutions, particularly within the FMCG sector. They design systems to meet customer-specific standards, leveraging a wide range of technologies to optimise production processes. Their expertise includes PLC/SCADA solutions, integrated safety systems, and networked intelligent applications.

To support the continued growth of the business and to deal with the amount of work they have now and forecasted, they have the need to appoint an Automation Engineer on a permanent basis.

As a Technical Sales Engineer, you will be taking full ownership of the sales process, including managing client relationships, preparing accurate and competitive quotations, and ensuring key project deadlines are met. You will also be responsible for sales forecasting, contributing to business planning, and identifying opportunities to grow existing accounts through strategic planning.

Essential Requirements:

• 3 Years Experience
• Controls Understanding, PLC/HMI/SCADA - Ideally Siemens & Rockwell Knowledge
• Estimating/Quotation Preparation Experience

Desirable Requirements:

• Electrical Design Appreciation
