We are recruiting for a Technical Sales Engineer to join our client and drive sales of equipment solutions. In this role, you will be responsible for promoting, selling, and providing technical support for products to industry clients, ensuring customer satisfaction, and achieving sales targets. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, excellent communication skills, and a passion for solving customer challenges.
Technical Sales Engineer Benefits:
Salary up to £45,000 p/a.
Monday to Friday 40 hours per week.

Technical Sales Engineer Responsibilities:
Identify and generate new business opportunities by targeting companies to promote company products.
Develop a deep understanding of products, their specifications, capabilities, and benefits to provide tailored solutions for customers.
Build and maintain long-term relationships with customers, acting as the main point of contact for sales inquiries, product demonstrations, and after-sales support.
Conduct product presentations, demonstrations, and site visits to showcase the technical features and benefits of products.
Prepare and present detailed quotes, proposals, and technical specifications to customers; negotiate pricing, terms, and delivery schedules to close sales effectively.
Monitor industry trends, competitor products, and customer feedback to stay informed about market demands and identify new sales opportunities.
Work closely with the engineering and operations teams to ensure timely delivery of products, effective post-sales support, and technical solutions to meet customer requirements.
Track sales performance, maintain accurate records of customer interactions, and provide regular sales forecasts and reports to management.
Technical Sales Engineer Skills and Experience Required:
Proven experience in technical sales, preferably within engineering.
Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
Ability to explain complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
Willingness to travel to customer sites for presentations, demonstrations, and meetings.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.
Experience working with international customers or global markets.
Previous experience in account management or customer relationship management.
