Technical Sales Manager

Salary: £35,000 - £48,000 D.O.E + Open ended bonus structure
Working hours: Monday to Friday 08.30 – 17.00
Working Model: Remote

Location: Covering the North of England, so you will be located ideally in Leeds, Manchester or Liverpool.

The company provide revolutionary products to the construction sector. Due to growth, we are looking for a Technical Sales Manager to join their already thriving team. You will be developing a new patch and will immediately inherit some warm clients and projects which are already in the process in your area.

About The Role

As a Technical Sales Manager, you will have the following responsibilities:

* You will proactively seek new business opportunities by contacting and developing relationships with existing and previous customers.

* Targeting main contractors & end-user clients.

* You will focus on outreach, generating supply and install sales enquiries.

* Discover and establish new specifications and identify potential projects.

* To visit and build relationships with consultant engineers, civil engineering contractors, councils and agencies with a view to gaining specifications and promoting the full product range.

What are we looking for in our new Technical Sales Manager?

* Experience working in building materials sales.

* Ability to demonstrate understanding of the construction application and requirements of the customer and then identify the appropriate products for the specific application.

* Ability to work smart, research, identify, and act on data.

* Comfortable in a fast-paced enthusiastic environment.

* Excellent communication skills, verbal and written.

* Tenacious and a liking for cold calling.

* Dealing with a wide range of order values.
