Technical Sales Support Representative

You will work closely with the sales team and receive direction and support from the Sales Director to ensure that projects are supported to the highest level. This includes preparing take-offs using Countfire take-off software and building quotes on SAP B1 ERP software.
- Technical Support: Respond to technical sales queries from specifiers, prepare and submit technical submittals for approval, mark up PDF or CAD drawings for project coordination.
- Work closely with our R&D and sales teams to coordinate the development of custom products
- Manage the sales team samples, keeping records of items in the sample stock, sample requests and following up with specifiers to recover issued samples.
- Project Management: Collaborate with BDMs and the Sales Director to assist in managing ongoing projects.
- Product Knowledge: Continually develop product knowledge to ensure you are able to assist with queries on product, specification, installation and maintenance across the product range.
- CRM: Keep records up to date in both our CRM and ERP systems (Pipedrive and SAP B1), ensuring data is accurate and up to date.
- Additional Tasks: Perform any other tasks requested by the Sales Director.
Minimum 2 years of experience in a sales/support role within the lighting industry.
- Good understanding of either the lighting industry, or the specification sales process
- Proficient with Microsoft office. Experience with excel, 2D CAD, Countfire or SAP a benefit.
