The management of these products from concept design to product or solution offering, with customer technical support requires inter-disciplinary skills, application or engineering knowledge and experience.KEY RESPONSIBILITIESThis is a customer-facing technical role providing first-class technical engineering and product support. This important position requires regular collaboration with their commercial sales team. To maintain our leading position, the company offers the best available product technology, reliability-centered maintenance incorporating and reviewing best practice principles. Improving customer product quality by optimising overall asset reliability (utilising the latest value-added services and product technology.)The successful candidate will complement the current Central Technical Department which includes mechanical engineers, chemists and application specialists. This role would involve working closely with the Industrial team comprising of Sales, Marketing, Product Management, and Research & Development.SKILLSQualified Mechanical Engineer / Industrial Chemist / Applications Engineer (or equivalent experience), combined with established industry knowledge. Proven experience within one or more sectors; metalworking, oil and gas, sustainable energy, mineral extraction and processing, paper manufacture and food/beverage.
