Purpose of the RoleTo ensure the site has documented technical systems that meet customer expectations and provide a platform for training and support the food manufacture operations team.To drive compliance and continuous improvement in core technical disciplines: Quality manual system managementInternal audit complianceComplaint reductionEnvironmental and product micro reductionKey ResponsibilitiesMaintain and develop site quality systems that satisfy customers and 3rd party audit requirements, and would be capable of meeting a due diligence defence. Manage the internal audit system ensuring audits are carried out to the agreed schedule.Manage the complaint and microbiological reduction strategies, driving initiatives and engagement across multi-functional teams. Ensure full compliance to all current and new site customer codes of practice by leading systematic reviews and drive changes to meet requirements.Maintain and develop requirements to obtain chain of custody certifications i.e., RSPO, MSC etc.Manage the technical services team. Set objectives and team and individual KPI’s.Manage the graduate and industrial placement program. A good understanding of microbiological standards, GMP & GHP.Quality experience within quality assurance in the food sector
