Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting for electrical engineering systems, components, and products.
  • Diagnose and resolve electrical issues, both remotely and on-site, ensuring minimal downtime for clients.
  • Assist in the installation, testing, and maintenance of electrical systems, including power supplies, control systems, and electrical panels.
  • Support clients with technical queries related to electrical circuits, wiring schematics, and electrical safety standards.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to resolve complex technical challenges and provide insights for product improvements.
  • Develop and deliver technical documentation, user guides, and training materials for customers and internal teams.
  • Assist in the design and configuration of custom electrical solutions based on client needs.
  • Stay current with industry standards, new technologies, and best practices in electrical engineering.
  • Participate in on-call support rotations for critical electrical systems and emergency troubleshooting.
Qualifications and Skills:
  • Degree or diploma in Electrical Engineering or related field.
  • Proven experience as a Technical Support Engineer, Electrical Engineer, or similar role.
  • In-depth knowledge of electrical systems, circuit design, control systems, and industrial electrical components.
  • Experience with electrical troubleshooting tools and equipment (e.g., multimeters, oscilloscopes, PLCs).
  • Familiarity with relevant electrical codes and standards (e.g., BS7671, IEC).
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose complex electrical issues.
  • Experience in using CAD software for electrical design and schematics is a plus.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to both technical and non-technical users.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., 18th Edition Wiring Regulations, CompEx) are advantageous.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a dynamic environment.
