£48,000 - £52,000 per annum, depending on experience
We have a newly created opportunity to join Beaverbrooks as a Technology Business Partner. This is an exciting and critical role in bridging the gap between business needs and technology solutions.
Collaborating closely with various store and office departments, you will understand their goals, challenges, and requirements, and work with the IT team to develop and implement technology strategies that support these objectives. This role is pivotal in ensuring that technology initiatives align with business priorities, drive innovation, and enhance overall business performance.
This is an office-based role, with the occasional opportunity to work from home.
Main Responsibilities
There are five key areas of this role, which are:
Strategic Alignment:
Serve as the bridge between stores, office departments and IT, aligning technology with business goals.
Understand business operations, objectives, and challenges deeply.
Engage in strategic planning to prioritise technology needs.
Technology Solutions Development:
Gather and translate business requirements into technical specifications.
Collaborate with IT to design and implement scalable, sustainable technology solutions.
Project Management:
Manage technology projects, ensuring timely and budget-compliant delivery.
Coordinate cross-functional teams for successful implementation.
Monitor project progress, manage risks, and resolve issues.
Stakeholder Management:
Build strong relationships with business leaders, IT, and vendors.
Communicate project status and gather feedback for continuous improvement.
Innovation and Continuous Improvement:
Stay updated on emerging technologies and industry trends.
Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and productivity.

The Ideal Candidate
ESSENTIAL SKILLS
Proven experience as a Technology Business Partner, IT Business Analyst, IT Project Manager or a similar role.
Strong understanding of business processes and the ability to translate business needs into technical requirements.
Excellent project management skills with a track record of successfully delivering technology projects.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders.
Analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on delivering innovative solutions.
DESIRABLE SKILLS
Bachelors degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or other related qualification.
Knowledge of current and emerging technologies relevant to the retail industry is a plus.
