Telecommunications Engineer

I am currently looking for a Telecommunications Engineer for an initial 6 month contract to start ASAP working on my clients telemetry system.Ideally you will be based in France, however my client is open to people working remotely within Europe.The successful candidate must be fluent in both French and English.Job Responsibilities:Ensure optimal system performance by defining technical specifications, determining component requirements, and outlining necessary tests.Validate the design and integration of the system both in the launcher and on the ground.Conduct design studies for the telemetry chain, including transmitters, antennas, and receiving stations, as well as performing link budget calculations.Develop telemetry frames for all flight phases.Stay updated on new technologies and trends in the field of telemetry.Qualifications and Skills:Extensive knowledge of telemetry protocols, radio frequency, along with hands-on experience in configuring and troubleshooting telemetry equipment.Familiarity with aerospace industry standards and regulations to ensure telemetry systems meet authorization, safety, and quality requirements.Knowledge of space-related fields and technologies or prior experience in the launcher/satellite industry is an advantage.If interested, please apply with your CV and I will be in touch to arrange an initial call.
