This role involves representing technology in the IT Infrastructure team for Mott McDonald, focusing on cabling, comms rooms, diversions, and reviewing airport systems requirements. The candidate will be engaged in the design and build contracts moving from RIBA 2+ to enabling works while developing RIBA 3 for larger extensions. The successful candidate will oversee the planning, design, and execution of telecom infrastructure projects within the airport environment.Skills:Experience in telecoms infrastructure design and implementationKnowledge of cabling and communication room setupsFamiliarity with airport systems and requirementsProject management experienceStrong problem-solving skillsAbility to work in a hybrid environmentExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsKnowledge of IT infrastructure and networkingAbility to manage multiple projects simultaneouslyFamiliarity with RIBA stages and construction processesSoftware/Tools:AutoCAD or similar CAD softwareProject management software (e.g., MS Project)Network design toolsIT infrastructure management toolsCertifications & Standards:Relevant engineering degree or equivalentCertifications in project management (e.g., Prince2, PMP)Knowledge of health and safety standards and compliance in telecom installationsFamiliarity with RIBA stages and construction standards
