Telehandler Driver/Forklift Driver

Position Overview: We are currently looking for a Telehandler Driver to operate heavy machinery and assist with various tasks on our housing site. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring materials are safely transported around the site, contributing to the efficiency and productivity of our construction operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Safely operate a telehandler to move materials, equipment, and supplies around the housing site.


• Load and unload construction materials from trucks and storage areas.


• Assist with general labor duties as needed, such as site cleanup and basic construction tasks.


• Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations to maintain a safe working environment.


• Communicate effectively with team members to coordinate tasks and ensure smooth operations.


• Perform routine maintenance checks on the telehandler to ensure it is in proper working condition.

Requirements:

• Proven experience operating a telehandler in a construction or similar environment.


• Valid telehandler certification or license.


• Strong understanding of safety procedures and protocols.


• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.


• Excellent communication skills and the ability to follow instructions accurately.
