Telehandler Operator (Telescopic Boom up to 9m)

Our Recycling / Renewable Energy source client, need an experienced Telehandler Operator (Telescopic Boom�up to 9m) to join their Recycling Yard team,�working to a quality standard & in a safe concise manner.

Working a back shift from 4:30pm to 00:30am Monday to Friday (some Saturdays also).

Operator Duties:

• Professional & Safe operating of the Telehandler (J2 Telescopic Boom Lift up to 9 metres) moving raw materials & finished goods around the yard / across the storage & manufacturing facilities.


• Loading & unloading machinery.


• Loading & unloading trailers (Goods in & Goods out).


• General stock movements & stock replenishments.


• Complete delivery & outbound paperwork.


• Stock & Quality control duties.


• General Yard & Warehouse housekeeping.

Attributes Desired:

• Telehandler Forklift operating license / certificate (J2 Telehandler)


• Grab Crane experience would be an additional benefit


• Counterbalance Forklift operating experience is beneficial too


• Other Crane operating experience is beneficial too


• Any other MHE skills


• Used to working in a fast moving environment


• Ideally experienced in Recycling, Waste Management, Biomass or similar types of fast paced working environments


• WAMITAB qualifications would be an advantage (not a must)


• Strong communication skills & quality focused
