Telemarketer / Call Handler | Plymouth | Full-time - 10am - 6pm (flexible) | Part-time hours are potentially available for the right candidate, and the salary will be discussed | £22,500 basic OTE £33,000 for full-time

Our client is on the lookout for passionate individuals like you to become their next Domestic Solar PV Sales Executive.

The company is not just about sales; they are about making a difference. Their mission is to empower businesses in the Southwest to embrace eco-friendly solutions, reduce their carbon footprint, and save on energy bills.

In this role, you will contact clients/businesses to discuss their current electric prices, discuss their current electric spending throughout the year, and explain how a Solar Panel System can help reduce their electricity bill while also reducing their carbon footprint. With the installation of the Solar Panel System, sometimes being free of charge to the businesses if they meet certain criteria.

Are you the right person for the job?


  • Professional and confident telephone manner
  • 1+ years of B2C/B2B sales/telesales/business development experience in a fast-paced sales environment is essential
  • Confidence to deal with people at all business levels
  • Good time keeping skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work individually as well as in a team environment
  • Enthusiastic and professional
  • Marketing background – not essential but will be helpful

What will your role look like?


  • Arranging meetings / appointments with clients from cold and warm leads
  • Calling through all commercial sites/businesses across the Southwest building reports and relations
  • Arranging appointments, with decision makers, bypassing any gatekeepers/ receptions ETC
  • Identifying the decision makers and potential requirements for the services we off
  • Generating sales leads through telesales cold-calling and independent research
  • Maintaining regular contact with previous customers to regain the business
  • Keeping and maintaining accurate customer info using the company CRM
  • Working toward sales targets and weekly KPIs
