We have registered a fantastic opportunity to join this amazing, world-renowned organization in the education sector!

Do you have experience supporting the organisation and running of events? Does this include complex logistical arrangements, full administrative support, and experience managing delegate requests and attendance?

If so, this is an exciting opportunity to be involved in an annual event for global participants. Some weekend work will be required over the next few months. Please only apply if you are happy with this!

Please note that this role requires the successful applicant to undertake a DBS disclosure check along with other relevant employment checks.

Please note, this is a full time temporary position paid on a weekly PAYE basis. This role is to start quickly, so sadly candidates with a lengthy notice period cannot be considered.

Temporary Event Coordinator Responsibilities


  • Supporting Event Logistics to ensure a positive experience
  • Assisting with Health and Safety and developing risk assessments for proposed activities
  • Assisting with developing run of show documents for proposed activities
  • Communicating with suppliers
  • Shaping the event experience e.g. Accommodation, meals, and evening activity arrangements
  • Communicating program updates
  • Developing handover documentation

Temporary Event Coordinator Requirements


  • Previous experience within events administration
  • Exposure in a delegate facing post
  • Proven logistical support
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills
  • Project management experience
  • Ability to work collaboratively
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Good IT skills including word processing, presentation, and spreadsheets
  • Hardworking and flexible
  • Good team player

Our client is located in Oxford (OX1). There isn’t any parking, but there are many public transport links which run very close by.
