Temporary Finance Manager

A well-established business in Scarborough is seeking an experienced Finance Manager to join their team on a temporary basis. This role offers a competitive hourly rate of circa £17 per hour and the chance to make an immediate impact in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee financial operations, ensuring accurate reporting and compliance

• Prepare and review management accounts, budgets, and forecasts
\n
• Manage cash flow, accruals, and deferred income to maintain financial stability
\n
• Provide financial insights to support strategic decision-making
\n
• Lead and mentor the finance team, ensuring efficiency and best practices
\n
• Monitor financial controls, cost-saving initiatives, and risk management
\n
• Liaise with external auditors, stakeholders, and senior management
\n

What We’re Looking For:

• Proven experience in management accounting – Strong background in budgeting, variance analysis, and financial reporting

• Expertise in cash flow management and forecasting – Ability to monitor liquidity, forecast accruals, and oversee deferred income

• Strong leadership skills – Confident managing and developing a finance team, improving processes, and driving efficiency
