We are looking for a temporary Note-Taker to support a market research workshop in Durham city centre. This role involves actively listening to a table of 8 participants during the workshop and accurately documenting participant responses and discussions, ensuring structured and detailed notes.

This one-day opportunity is perfect for individuals looking to earn some extra money. The successful candidate will need to bring their own laptop and use it to type up notes. You will also need strong listening, typing, and communication skills, and the ability to work efficiently under time constraints.

Event Details

• Location: Durham City Centre, Hotel Indigo
• Date: Saturday 22nd February
• Hours: 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM
• Mandatory Online Training: Wednesday 19th February, 11:00 AM - 12:00 PM

• Rate: �13.85 per hour (London Living Wage)
• Lunch will be provided

Key Responsibilities

• Capture and document participant discussions accurately using a provided template
• Work closely with the facilitator to ensure all key points are recorded
• Maintain clear and structured note-taking throughout the event
• Assist with post-session tidying up if required

What We're Looking For

• Strong written communication and attention to detail
• Excellent listening and fast typing skills
• Ability to meet deadlines while maintaining accuracy
• Previous experience in note-taking, transcription, or administration is a plus
• Must bring your own laptop for note-taking
• Must be over 18 and have the right to work in the UK
