Location: Grimsby Campus
Full-time, Temporary Role (37 hours per week)
Hourly Pay - £28.00 - £31.00
We are currently seeking an experienced and committed Programme Leader for Sport & Public Services to join the team on a temporary basis at Grimsby Campus. This is an exciting opportunity for someone passionate about delivering high-quality teaching and supporting students in the Uniformed Public Services (UPS) sector.
Key Responsibilities:

\n
• Full-time teaching responsibilities across Levels 1, 2, and 3 in Uniformed Public Services (UPS).
\n
• Programme Leader duties, including some tutoring responsibilities.
\n
• Delivery of engaging lessons and practical sessions in Outdoor Education, including water-based activities.
\n
• Promoting discipline, hierarchy, and routine in line with the ethos of UPS.
\n
• Focus on E&D, Health & Safety, and careers in UPS.
\n
• Encouraging and supporting volunteering opportunities for students.
\n

Skills and Experience Required:

\n
• Proven experience in teaching within the Sport & Public Services sector, specifically at Levels 1, 2, and 3.
\n
• Strong background in Outdoor Education, with practical experience in water-based activities.
\n
• Knowledge of UPS, including focus areas such as hierarchy, discipline, and career progression.
\n
• Strong commitment to promoting Equality & Diversity and Health & Safety in an educational environment.
\n
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
\n
• Experience of working in a similar educational setting is preferred.
\n

Working Hours:

\n
• Monday – Thursday: 8:30 am – 5:00 pm
\n
• Friday: 8:30 am – 4:30 pm
