The company are a leading manufacturer of mobility / medical products who are seeking to recruit a Territory Sales Manager for the North of England.



The main responsibility of the role is to co-ordinate the implementation of the company sales and marketing plans in the assigned area.



Responsibilities / Duties;



As the Field Sales manager;




  • Proactively develop territorial business plans. Strategy for winning new business as well as growing and retaining existing client sales.

  • Implementing new business initiatives to drive sales.

  • Collaboration with existing client base to generate new business.

  • Identifying sales opportunities in market changes.

  • Negotiation of sales contracts.

  • Work with the marketing team to devise marketing materials and tools to support new business sales.

  • Maintain all records of sales activity - reporting daily, weekly and monthly.

  • Communication of new products to new and existing clients.



Key skills for this role are as follows;




  • Previous experience of sales / business development within a B2B and or B2C environment.

  • Experience within the mobility, medical equipment, health, or fire and safety industries.

  • Proven history of generating new business and revenue growth.

  • Target focused, driven, and strong relationship building skills / networking.

  • Strong negotiation skills. Excellent verbal and written skills.

  • Strong IT skills.

  • Experienced in direct and indirect / channel sales.

  • Hold a full, clean driving license.

  • Able to travel long distance and stay overnight (at short notice occasionally)



The role is a Days role - 37.5 hours a week - Monday to Friday.



Salary is up to £51k per annum (OTE).



The area of sales is the north of England so would suit any candidate based in Lancashire, Yorkshire, Westmorland, Cumberland, Durham or Northumberland region.
