Test Automation Engineer - Outside IR35 - SC Cleared

Job Description:
SR2 are working with a leading consultancy client who are looking for a skilled and motivated Test Automation Engineer to join their agile team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in test automation, particularly using Cypress, and experience in both front-end and API testing within agile environments. The role involves ensuring the quality and reliability of a web-based application through comprehensive automated testing.
Required Skills & Experience:

• Proven experience as a Front-end Test Automation Engineer using Cypress.
\n
• Experience in API Test Automation, preferably using Cypress, Postman, and Rest-Assured.
\n
• Strong understanding of JavaScript for front-end development and Java for API development.
\n
• Familiarity with API architecture and data formats such as RESTful services.
\n
• Hands-on experience with Jenkins for CI/CD pipeline integration.
\n
• Proficiency with Git for version control.
\n
• Knowledge of the Page Object Model and common challenges in UI automation.
\n
• Experience with event-driven architectures, particularly using Kafka.
\n
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, agile environment.
\n
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
\n
• Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
\n
• Experience working with PostgreSQL for database queries and validation.
