Test Manager/Test Consultant

We are seeking an experienced Test Manager/Test Consultant to join our clients team in Glasgow to support them in a discovery project. This project will be Inside IR35, and will be an initial 3 month contract. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in insurance and extensive experience in technical management of test teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Technical management of the test team.
\n
• Ideally some Insurance Background Experience
\n
• Planning, coordination, and control of test activities.
\n
• Defining the test approach.
\n
• Developing and defining suitable test methods and tools.
\n
• Monitoring and adjusting test plans to align with current delivery plans.
\n
• Defining and monitoring test quality controls.
\n
• Influencing stakeholders and driving QA best practices.
\n

\n

Qualifications:

\n

\n
• Over 10 years of experience as a Test Manager or Lead Test Consultant.
\n
• Proven experience working for a consultancy, delivering QA services, and managing clients.
\n
• Ability to manage offshore teams.
\n
• Experience managing third-party software suppliers, ensuring quality delivery.
\n
• Conducted QA health checks on active projects and provided recommendations.
\n
