This role will see the successful candidate join the Test and Inspection department, assessing a range of high voltage instruments such as relays. This role is highly varied, covering electrical, mechanical and function testing.

The Role:

\n

\n
• Function testing of relays / instruments using secondary injection test sets, voltage sources and measuring instruments
\n
• Checking and testing functionality of circuits using diagrams
\n
• Complete goods receipt inspection including from paint to works instructions
\n
• Complete mechanical inspections such as tightness of fixings around relays
\n
• High voltage insulation tests on pilot wire protection circuits up to 15kV
\n
• High voltage insultation tests on busing type insulators and outdoor circuit breakers using 100kV insulation testers
\n

The Person:

\n

\n
• Proven experience testing high voltage relays
\n
• IEC 61850 Experience is desirable
\n
