About the Role: We are looking for a skilled and motivated Theatre Nurse with scrub experience to join our private clinic team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional care throughout the perioperative journey, ensuring the highest standards of clinical practice and patient safety. You will work closely with surgeons, anesthetists, and other healthcare professionals to deliver seamless surgical procedures and a positive patient experience. Key Responsibilities: Provide skilled nursing care in the operating theatre, acting as a scrub nurse during surgical procedures. Prepare the theatre, equipment, and instruments for surgery, ensuring all necessary supplies are available and sterile. Assist the surgical team during operations, maintaining a sterile field and adhering to aseptic techniques. Monitor patient conditions during procedures, ensuring safety and responding promptly to any changes. Manage surgical instruments, swabs, and materials efficiently, maintaining accurate counts and records. Support the theatre team in preoperative and postoperative care, ensuring a smooth patient journey. Adhere to clinical guidelines, infection control protocols, and health and safety standards. Collaborate effectively with the multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Participate in clinical audits, staff training, and quality improvement initiatives. Qualifications and Experience: Registered Nurse (RN) with an active NMC registration. Previous experience as a Theatre Nurse with scrub experience is essential. Strong knowledge of surgical procedures, aseptic techniques, and operating theatre protocols. Excellent communication, teamwork, and organizational skills. Ability to remain calm and focused under pressure. Commitment to delivering high-quality patient care. Experience in a private clinic or hospital environment is advantageous.
