Your RoleAs a 3rd Line IT Storage Specialist, you will play a crucial role in supporting and delivering end-user support as part of the Technical Services team. This includes providing 3rd line support, consultancy to internal and external customers, design assurance, and training and knowledge sharing with upstream support teams. You will be responsible for maintaining the necessary skills within the team to support existing and new customer requirements, ensuring the smooth running of contracts, and driving continuous improvement within the team. What You Need to SucceedTo excel in this role, you should have a strong customer focus and a drive to provide proactive, best-in-class service. You will need the ability to process complex ideas, think logically, and take well-evaluated risks. Proven experience of technically supporting live operations in a managed service environment is essential, along with in-depth knowledge of managed customer solutions and emerging technologies. Familiarity with collaborative ways of working and the ability to motivate cross-functional teams are also important. Ideally, you will have advanced skills in at least two of the following areas: Storage Management, Servers, Server Operating System Management, Virtualisation, Cloud, Backup and Recovery Technologies, and Disaster Recovery.
