Summary:

GI Pro have permanent role for a TIG Welder Fabricator for our Nottingham based client

Working on a day shift Monday to Friday Monday to Thursday 07:00 - 16:00 Friday 07:00 - 12:00

Offering pay rate between �14.50ph - �15.00ph

Overtimes paid at a premium (1.5x after 37.5hrs)

This is a permanent contract

The company - Make laboratory equipment, things for funeral directors, mortuary/ morgue/ forensic equipment

The role:

  • Welding and fabricating stainless steel bespoke units for morgue equipment - Post Partum tables, fridges where they keep dead bodies etc
  • Will all be mild steel fabrications and TIG welding
  • Welding and fabricating stainless and mild steel laboratory products
  • Welding small batch ancillary items
  • Cleaning and polishing fabrications
  • Working with press brake, laser, and mechanical assemblers

The candidate

  • TIG welding experience essential (preferably thin stainless steel)
  • Able to work from engineering drawings to make bespoke parts

Benefits

� 20 days + bank holidays

� For every full year you have been there you get a year so goes up to 25 days plus bank

� 3% pension

� Death in service - 4 years of annual salary

� Will provide uniform - trousers, polo sweat tops, boiler suit or trouser suit
