The TIG Welder role will involve but is not limited to:
Removing exhausts from assembly robot into tolerance jig (average 30 per hour).
Leak testing exhaust systems.
TIG welding of exhausts systems where leak test has failed.
Following high standards and company procedures.
Spot checks, quality assurances and self-inspection of the standard of welds.
Undertaking all other production and warehouse tasks as required.
Following all health and safety policies and procedures to strict guidelines.
This is an ongoing full-time position. The shifts are on a fortnightly rotation. Rotation as follows:
Early shifts 06:00 to 16:00
Late shift 16:00 to 02:00
Pay rates for the shifts are as follows:
Early = £12.97 per hour
Lates = £15.11 per hour
Overtime paid at X1.5 after 40 hours per week.
This is primarily a production role with the requirement for TIG welding, and as such you will be on your feet for the most part of the shift.
Exhaust systems are fully assembled when removing from the assembly robot, therefore a good level of physical ability will be required due to the nature of this position.
Applicants must be flexible in their availability. Overtime will be necessary when business requirements arise. TIG welding coding certificate not required but previous experience is necessary.
