TM1 – Senior Planning Analytics Developer – Permanent – Warton
What you'll be doing:
• Designing, developing, and maintaining planning analytics models, cubes, dimensions, rules, and reports within an iterative development environment
• Developing solutions to integrate between IBM Cognos Analytics, Planning Analytics with Watson (PAW) dashboards and IBM Planning Analytics reports (PASS)
• Working with stakeholders, analysts and other developers to understand systems and collaborate on the implementation of appropriate Planning Analytics solutions
• Translating business requirements and rules in into technical design specifications
• Building and deploying Planning Analytics solutions using appropriate code standards, configuration and change management process and procedures
• Ensuring test plans, unit tests and peer reviews are carried out for all development
Your skills and experiences:
Essential
• Experience as a planning analytics developer
• Computer Science Degree or equivalent demonstrable experience
Desirable
• Certified Planning Analytics Developer or equivalent experience preferred if possible in a finance role
• Experience working in a finance environment would be preferred
• CIMA / ACCA or equivalent is desirable
The Planning Analytic Development Team:
The role involves being part of a separate team of Planning Analytics Developers who support finance and resource planning departments.
As a TM1 Planning Analytics Developer, you'll be responsible for the timely and accurate delivery of analytics that support senior stakeholders' decision-making right across our Air sector business.
You will have a technical knowledge of TM1 Planning Analytics' architecture, including PAX/PAfE, PAW, and PASS together with the ability to understand technical instructions and communicate these onto others.
You will be confident working within the team with the minimum of supervision and have responsibility for the quality and timely completion of your own work.
