Tool Maker

Overview:

Our client is seeking a skilled and experienced Tool Maker to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a professional environment where precision and craftsmanship are highly valued.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manufacture tooling accurately and efficiently with minimal supervision.


• Operate a variety of tool room machinery, including:
  
  
  
  • Centre lathes
  
  
  • Vertical millers
  
  
  • Grinding machines
  
  
  • CNC milling and turning equipment
  
  
  
  


• Utilize precision measuring instruments such as gauges and devices to ensure high standards of quality.


• Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines and maintain production schedules.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Tool Maker in a similar role.


• Proficiency in operating general tool room machinery and CNC equipment.


• Strong attention to detail and ability to work with precision.


• Familiarity with a range of precision measuring tools.


• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Working Hours:

• Monday to Thursday: 7:30 am to 4:30 pm


• Friday: 7:30 am to 11:30 am

Compensation:

• Hourly Rate: £16.61
