Our client, based in Yeovil (BA20), are seeking a�Tooling Governance/Procurement Assistant.�This is a full-time temporary position working 37 hours per week until May 2026 with the possibility of extension.�
What you will do:
- To provide support to the Tooling Procurement Process.
- Generation of SAP records.
- To provide support in the Governance of all Component Supplier related Tooling ensuring support to Procurement.
- Support the Supplier Qualification/Capability Matrix including DSA & Quality reporting.
- Support the Disposal Program, Support Internal Tooling Audits across Build Lines & Stores.
- Support the Maintenance of the DI's & Processes.
- Support the MSM & Goods Receipting Process.
Key role accountabilities:
- Tool Control management support.
- Assist with carrying out an MSM activity liaising with Internal & External Suppliers to ensure Delivery Schedule Adherence.
- Have an understanding of SAP/TCMAX interface supporting Central Tooling, TCE & DCC.
- Assist with tooling asset management.
- Support Logistics Hub liaisons.
- Support tooling audits, including; internal tooling asset audits, Supplier Purchase Order Audits, and Tooling Supplier Approval audits.
What you need:- Basic numeracy and literacy qualifications.
- Level 3 BTEC or equivalent.
- Data analysing skills.
- Negotiating Skills/Techniques.
- Effective problem solving skills/techniques.
- Good Inter-personal & communication skills.
- Computer literate with excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
- Knowledge of SAP would be beneficial.
