Town Planner / Senior Town Planner
Salary: Up to �35,000 (depending on experience)
Location: Ironbridge, Shropshire

My client is seeking an experienced Town Planner or Senior Town Planner to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially aware professional looking to work across a range of sectors, including retail, commercial, and environmental planning.

The Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

• Conducting policy and planning history research
• Preparing strategies to secure planning permissions and associated applications
• Writing Design and Access Statements and Planning Statements
• Negotiating with officers and liaising directly with clients and other consultants

Requirements

• At least five years' private sector experience
• Chartered status (or actively working towards it)
• Personable and client-facing with strong commercial awareness
• Full UK driving licence
• Full-time preferred, but part-time considered
