Job Title: Town Planner | Senior Planner

My client is seeking an experienced Town Planner to join their esteemed planning team. This opportunity is ideal for professionals looking to advance their careers in a reputable care home developer.

My client is the UK's premier residential care home developer and constructor, boasting over 30 years of innovation.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Manage planning project work in-house.
  • Conduct initial site appraisals and evaluations.
  • Prepare and submit written reports, statements, and all necessary planning application documentation.
  • Engage and negotiate with Planning Officers and relevant parties involved in the application process.
  • Participate in Planning Committee and Appeal situations as needed.
  • Take ownership of projects, requiring a minimum of 5 years of professional planning experience.

Candidate Requirements:

  • Minimum of 2+ years of experience in a town planning role, with a background in private or public sector settings such as consultancy, local authority, developer, or land promoter.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ambitious, self-motivated, and a team player.
  • Keen interest in the entire land and planning process.
  • Full UK driving license.
