BenefitsRemote WorkingCar Allowance20% (Discretionary annual bonus)The CompanyOXBO are partnering with a leading international Solar & BESS IPP who are looking to grow out their in house planning team in the UK in order to progress the development of their Transmission and Distribution connected Solar & BESS projects throughout the country.This is an exciting opportunity to work for a company whoProvide remote workingHave international officesOwn and operate the assets they developResponsibilitiesSupporting the UK development team with all current and future planning processes.Working closely with the team on identifying suitable development opportunities around connection opportunities.Managing planning consultants and other contractors appointed by the company to assist in the planning process.Reviewing team-originated land opportunities from a planning viewpoint, in cooperation with the team and their input regarding aspects of long-term requirements around construction, operation and asset management.Managing key stakeholders through the planning process and into the site construction and operational phase.Attend industry and discipline events, webinars and showsRequirementsDetailed understanding of the UK planning system.Knowledge and experience of the TCPA application process, and ideally the DCO process (including EIA development).Prior experience of working in utility scale solar and/or BESS would be beneficial.Experience of project management and stakeholder engagement.Chartered status and Full Membership of the Royal Town Planning Institute or other relevant professional body (or working towards membership).Excellent written, communication and organisational skills.
