Senior Town Planner
Location: Hertfordshire
Rate: �500 per day
Contract Role: Local Authority
A Local Authority in Hertfordshire is seeking an experienced Senior Town Planner to join their team on a contract basis. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to the strategic and operational development management of the Borough while working on a diverse range of projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage all aspects of development management within the Borough.
• Process and assess a variety of planning applications and appeals.
• Deliver presentations at Planning Committees.
• Represent the Local Authority at hearings and public inquiries.
• Provide professional advice on planning and related legislation.
• Contribute to the enforcement of planning control within the Borough.

Essential Requirements:

• Comprehensive knowledge of planning legislation and related frameworks.
• Proven experience in the enforcement of planning control.
• Demonstrated ability to provide evidence at Public Inquiries.
• Exceptional communication and presentation skills.
• Membership (or eligibility for membership) of the Royal Town Planning Institute (RTPI).
