Job Opportunity: Town Planner - Bristol

Are you a skilled Town Planner looking for an exciting new opportunity to work with a dynamic team in a vibrant city? We are currently seeking a talented and motivated Town Planner to join a leading consultancy based in Bristol.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide expert planning advice on a range of projects, from residential to commercial developments.

Prepare and submit planning applications, including design and access statements, and planning reports.

Liaise with clients, local authorities, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth project delivery.

Conduct site assessments and feasibility studies, offering solutions that align with local policies and regulations.

Stay up-to-date with relevant planning legislation and policy changes.

Contribute to the delivery of planning strategies and masterplans for various land-use developments.

Ideal Candidate:

A relevant degree in Town Planning or a related field.

Chartered membership with the Royal Town Planning Institute (RTPI) or working towards it.

Proven experience in a similar role, ideally within the private sector.

Excellent communication skills with the ability to build strong relationships with clients, local authorities, and colleagues.

Strong knowledge of UK planning regulations and policies.

Self-motivated, able to work independently and as part of a team.
