Trade Mark Paralegal opportunity - leading law firm in London

Minimum 12 months' experience working as a Trade Mark Paralegal required. Applicants without this experience will not be shortlisted.

Our client is a London based, progressive and entrepreneurial law firm with a people-centric culture. The firm are well known for handling high profile matters for both a UK and International client base.

The Department

The successful Trade Mark Paralegal will work as part of a close-knit, friendly Trade Mark team which forms part of the wider Legal 500 ranked Commerce & Technology Practice.

The workload is at times demanding and therefore, this role will suit candidates with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines at any one time.

The team work in the office three days per week, and remotely the rest. They have a mature, flexible attitude towards work life balance.

The Opportunity

As one of the firm's Trade Mark Paralegals, you can expect to work closely with the firm's Trade Mark Partner on the management of their Trade Mark and Design Prosecution Practice.

Key Tasks:

  • Assisting with the preparation of trade mark applications
  • Following up on progress of trade marks (filing through to registration)
  • Providing advice in relation to oppositions
  • Drafting assignment documentation
  • Completing letters for trade mark applications and oppositions
  • Conducting Intellectual Property searches and assisting with research
  • Dealing with trade mark registries and overseas attorneys

Required

  • Minimum 12 months' experience working as a Trade Mark Paralegal essential
  • Pro-active 'can-do' attitude, team player, and excellent attention to detail
