We are working with a small client based on the outskirts of London who are looking to recruit for a Contracts Administrator/Operational support to join them on a permanent basis. Our client is a Trading company so is looking for the successful candidate to come from a Trading background. Main duties will include:
Contracts and Documentation
Prepare and manage sales/purchase contracts and invoices.
Ensure accurate and timely shipping documents (e.g., Bills of Lading, L/Cs).
Shipment Coordination
Oversee shipment logistics and liaise with clients, suppliers, and shipping lines.
Manage delivery schedules and freight quotes.
Financial Operations
Handle payment methods: L/Cs, Bills of Exchange, D/P, TT, and Open Accounts.
Open, amend, and negotiate L/Cs; liaise with banks for payment and financing.
Certifications and Inspections
Issue Certificates of Insurance, Origin, and EUR.1.
Coordinate inspections at loading/discharge ports.
Monitoring and Reporting
Update shipping schedules, freight rates, and booking systems.
Conduct profit and loss calculations and track contract status.
