Job Description
Job Title: Risk Analyst - SA CVA Implementation
Duration: End of the year with the possibility of extensions
Location: London – 2/3 Hybrid
Pay Rate: £350.00 – Inside IR35
Location: London (Hybrid working, 2-3 days per week in office)
About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled Risk Analyst to join our dynamic team working on the implementation of the SA CVA (Standardized Approach for Credit Valuation Adjustment) project. This strategic initiative involves updating calculation methods for risk managers in compliance with global regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
• Generate and analyse daily financial traded risk reports for risk managers and traders
• Contribute to the SA CVA project, focusing on implementing new regulatory methodologies
• Develop and test processes using Python to enhance operational efficiency
• Collaborate with IT teams to build and improve control infrastructure
• Analyse risk results and identify data issues to implement necessary controls
• Prepare for the integration of new methodologies into daily risk management operations by 2025
• Build and test processes, creating improved reporting mechanisms for risk managers
Required Skills and Experience:
• Strong background in risk analysis or business analysis within a banking environment
• Familiarity with SA CVA and XVA regulations
• Proficiency in Python programming
• Experience in handling large datasets in a global banking context
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Proactive approach with the ability to think creatively and innovatively
Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience with financial markets and trading risk
• Knowledge of regulatory reporting requirements
• Familiarity with global banking operations
