Hours: 9.5 hours paid per day

Job Description:

We are seeking a qualified Traffic Marshall with a Fire Marshall Ticket for a long-term project in Glen Parva, Leicester. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining site safety, ensuring smooth traffic flow, and responding to fire safety needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Direct and manage vehicle movement around the site, ensuring safety for all workers and visitors.


• Control access to and from the site, checking credentials and ensuring proper authorization.


• Monitor site entrances and exits, maintaining a log of all deliveries and vehicle movements.


• Implement fire safety protocols and respond to fire emergencies as a certified Fire Marshall.


• Conduct regular fire safety checks and ensure fire safety equipment is in place and functional.


• Coordinate with site management to ensure compliance with safety regulations.


• Provide clear communication and guidance to drivers and site workers.

Requirements:

• Valid Traffic Marshall/Banksman card.


• Valid Fire Marshall certification.


• Previous experience working on construction sites.


• Strong awareness of health and safety procedures.


• Ability to communicate effectively and work as part of a team.
