Due to a new business opportunity, we have a requirement for a Traffic Office Supervisor to join our busy team based in Longtown.

We are looking for a result driven individual who will be responsible for ensuring all deliveries and collections are made from our Longtown depot each day. Someone who is meticulous, has excellent communication skills and a professional approach to customer care and relationships.
Responsibilities
Organising deliveries & collections
Liaise directly with customers & stakeholders
Site compliance
Health, safety & security maintenance
Accident reporting
Absence management
Manage training requirements
Collaboratively work with and liaise with warehouse and customer services colleagues throughout day.
Provide regular situation reports and updates to relevant personnel in traffic team as required.
Stand in cover for Operations Managers holidays/absence.
Requirements
Previous experience working in a fast-paced transport environment
Previous experience working within a transport office
Good understanding of legal compliance, drivers hours and WTD's
Knowledge of transport management systems & vehicle telematics.
Be proficient in using Microsoft packages (Excel, Word, Outlook)
Knowledge of Cumbria / D&G areas desirable
Have excellent attention to detail
The Traffic Office Supervisor must have a flexible approach to work demands and need to be an effective communicator with great organisational skills, being able to stay calm under pressure, thriving in a busy and fast-paced environment.
The position is Monday Friday office hours, with some Saturdays as overtime.
