Trainee Abattoir Operative - Start ASAP

Abatec is currently recruiting for Operatives for our client based in Emersons Green area. This full-time role offers competitive pay rates and excellent benefits.

Pay and Hours:

• Starting pay rate: �13.21 per hour


• Overtime pay: �18.49 per hour (after 41.25 hours)


• Daily Bonus scheme available


• Monday to Friday: Shift pattern: 4 days on, 6:15am - 5:30pm


• No weekends required

Duties

• Clean and strip down offal into different animal bi-product categories


• Accurately label products for correct placement in relevant containers


• Harvest, process, and distribute natural casings and meat products


• Maintain and sanitise production areas to ensure cleanliness


• Handle manure, animal stomachs, and intestines

Requirements:

• Own transport is required to arrive on time for shifts


• Previous experience is not essential as full training will be provided
